This coming weekend we have a full estate sale loaded with Native American paintings by Harry Walters (NA-TON-SA-KA) large sand paintings by James C. Joe, prints by Eugene Baatsoslanii Joe, Gerda Christofferson, Jose Maria De Servin, and Tahoma (not an original), and oil paintings by local artist Larry Greenwalt and some bronzes and sculptures.

We also have Navajo sterling silver and turquoise rings, and bolo ties, plus vintage Black Hills gold ear rings and cufflinks.

And many curios from a shop in Old Town. Items like, copper rings and bracelets, birthstone rings, concho belts, bolo ties and rings, polished rocks, obsidian and turquoise. Almost forgot, the garage is full of chess sets, boxes and bookends by the dozens, and other nice Christmas gift ideas.

Other interesting items are books, comic books, laser disks, nativity sets. We have a complete Knights Templar uniform with coat, hat, sword and gloves, a Tuxedo couch, a Vinyl recliner and a custom black tuck and pleated bar that is very cool.

We even have balloon memorabilia. That’s just some of the fun stuff. All staged in a midcentury home in the middle of the Albuquerque Country Club area.

Sales Dates: Sept 15-18, 2022

The management and staff of Memory Movers cordially invites you to our Estate Sale on Sept 15th through 18th.  That’s four days and you will need them to fully see what we are billing as an Extraordinary Event. The location is not usual, the venue is definitely not normal, and the merchandise is virtually impossible to fully describe.

The Owners at one time were planning to create an Event Center but ultimately changed their minds.  So along with all the antiques and collectibles they accrued while planning on an Event Center there is an extensive amount of table covers, runners, table clothes and napkins of many sizes and shapes, chair covers for every holiday you can imagine.  Along with this there are holiday dishes and stainless flatware of every color handle you can imagine.  There are also many serving pieces and bowls, cake stands, large trays, tubs, vases, candle sticks, baskets, plus many pieces and colors of La Creuset cast iron baking dishes, and corning ware.

How to describe the merchandise offered for sale besides those items previously discussed? First of all, it is voluminous: thousands of individual pieces inside and out mean wear comfortable shoes and plan to spend the day.

Ooh la la! Where France meets Corrales!

An exciting sale this week in a beautiful Adobe home near the river. This home has hosted numerous house parties. If you love to cook and entertain with a French flair you be right at home here. The interior is fitting for gracious living with China, rugs, and furniture from around the world. A perfect setting for entertaining with three sets of China with 24 place settings, Waterford and Baccarat crystal (still in boxes) too.

Yellow, blue and white are the basic color schemes for the French, Mexican (Talavera), Dutch and Scandinavian China. An abundance of basic white to use alone or fill in. This would be perfect if you own a restaurant.

Now you’d probably want to add some of the linens to complete the overall look. We have, many pure white, yellow, red, and blue, including place mats and napkins. As a bonus we have hand towels and fancy soaps.

Moving on past dining. There’s a 10-foot antique English extension table, and eight-foot-tall display cabinet and eight-foot-long buffet. On into the living room, we have three Louie chairs including one for sure Louie the XIV chair. The living room set is composed of a humpback couch, loveseat and two down chairs.

Since the 70’s this home has transcended many styles from the blue and white, Spanish colonial, and Oriental.  We have some, Rose Medallion, Blue Willow, Imari and Talavera.

The back yard has several table and chair sets for your outdoor entertaining.

The master bedroom showcases the king Mexican bed covered with white linen pillows. Around the corner the dressing room is loaded with enclitic clothing to match the personality of the home. Plenty of shoes, boots, purses, gloves, scarves and designer clothes like Eileen Fisher. There’s a sweet collection on perfumes, lingerie and ethnic jewelry (some silver).

Here is a brief sale description:

This is a once in a lifetime event. We’ve thought that before but this time we mean it! For all of you who love Native American Art, this is the place. We have dozens of Navajo Rugs of various styles, size and prices, and many by known artists.
The same holds for pottery and the Hopi Kachinas. The pottery has great samples from almost all 18 Pueblos. You’ll easily find a pot you’ll love to add to your collection. We also have original furniture, some hand made, and lots of kitchen goodies and odds & ends.

One thing that of particular interest to the ladies is the huge collection of never used purses and pairs of shoes. There are too many types and brands to mention here. You have to see them to believe. And there are, of course, the usual household items.

We do want to mention the gigantic selection of new knives.

The photo section begins with some photos of more traditional estate sale items. Following that is a large gallery collage of Native American artwork available including Kachinas, pottery, and finally (but by no means least) samples of the numerous Navajo rugs.

Welcome everyone to the second part of our Eldorado, Santa Fe estate sale.
